Claims We Handle

Electrical Damage

Electrical events can damage wiring, outlets, appliances, and other building components. We help document affected areas and identify the repairs needed.

What We Document for Electrical Damage Claims

Electrical damage can result from power surges, arcing, short circuits, or other covered electrical events. The damage may be visible — scorched outlets, melted wiring, or burned panels — or hidden inside walls and ceilings where it is not immediately apparent.

Insurers may limit the claim to only the most obvious damage, leaving out affected appliances, wiring runs, or building components that were also impacted. We work to identify the full scope of the electrical event and document every affected area.

Our team reviews the affected circuits, documents damaged components, and prepares a repair estimate that reflects what is needed to restore the property to its pre-loss condition.

What We Document

Source and nature of the electrical event
Damaged wiring, panels, and outlets
Affected appliances and equipment
Scorching, burning, or heat damage to building components
Hidden damage inside walls and ceilings
Full repair and replacement scope

Coverage depends on the facts of the loss and the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the specific policy.
